A few months ago I was in Minnesota, living a short distance from Starbucks. I’m now an hour away from my favorite beverage company and I’m forced to make due. I was in Sioux City, Iowa the other day when I tried an iced coffee that had me at the first sip: Brown Sugar Oatmilk Espresso. I’d never had oatmilk before, but I’m absolutely HOOKED now. The flavor is fantastic. Almost filling.
I went straight to the store and bought what I needed to make this new drink.
It took me a few tries, but this is what I came up with. And I think it’s dead-on. Thanks to the cinnamon/brown sugar taste, this is going to make you feel like you’ve bypassed summer and went straight to autumn (and what basic bitch doesn’t want that?).

Ingredients:
Wide Awake Coffee Co. Cold Brew Espresso Blend
Light Brown Sugar
Ice
Cinnamon
Torani Vanilla Syrup
Simply Oatmilk (It’s a brand)
Whipped Cream
Listen… I didn’t say this was a HEALTHY drink, but if you like sweet like me, it’s damn good. 🙂
Directions:
Heat half a cup of Wide Awake Coffee Co. Cold Brew Espresso Blend in the microwave – 30 seconds.
Add a heaping teaspoon of light brown sugar to espresso blend.
In a glass, add desired amount of ice. (I bought some Starbucks cups for the whole experience lol)
Add a quick shot of vanilla syrup.
Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the ice.
Pour the espresso/brown sugar blend over the ice.
Pour oatmilk into glass (Eyeball it. If you like your drink strong, use less oatmilk.).
Add whipped cream and sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top.
Enjoy!
