I’m always looking for fast, easy and delicious recipes. While scoping the internet one day, I found this awesome cake recipe and it was a hit last Christmas. You can top it with any frosting you like, or you can simply sprinkle some sifted confectioners sugar over it. I actually topped it with chocolate frosting and sprinkled crumbled candy canes over it to create that ‘Christmas’ feel. The cake almost tastes like a brownie…it’s that dense and moist!
- 1 package of Devil’s Food Cake Mix
- 1 package of Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
- 1 cup of Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup of Sour Cream
- 4 Eggs
- 1/2 cup of Warm Water
- 2 cups of Semisweet Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the cake mix and pudding mix, oil, sour cream, beaten eggs, and water. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour batter into a well-greased bundt pan. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for an hour. Top as desired.
